Hi Dave I have acquired a fully chromed Protector type 6RS dated 1958 can you tell me anything about these chrome lamps , who would order one / use one and how many are there?
Hi Mark, The 6RS lamps were specific to the Durham Coal Fields. It is a Deputies Re-lighter Lamp, usually chromed lamps were supplied to Mine Managers. We do not have records of where or how many were supplied, but a managers lamp would be far less common. Regards David
